Wedding Day Blues

The only thing missing from this card is the kitchen sink ,I got a bit carried away.The blue flowers on the cake are sequins ,the white flowers in the middle are nail stickers. The flowers around the oval are punched and each one has a glitter centre which doesn't show up on the piccie.

My little easel cards covers two challenges. This adorable lion is from Meljen's .Instead of using buttons or flowers I made some small paper bows .Punch or hand cut a few circles of paper in different sizes ,scrunch opposite sides together and secure around the middle with matching thread .Pull the thread tight and tie off,arrange paper edges into a fan shape.

How cute is this bear from Sassy Cheryls . I decided less is more with this card .I love the papers and the image so didn't add too much. Last year I was obsessed by buttons this year my love affair is with chalks so all the edges are shaded and soft.

Love you Bear

Well it's another beautiful sunny day here in Tasmania and it's Thursday ,almost the weekend.As well as playing along with the 365 Cards everyday I am trying to fit in a few other challenges as well. It's not easy.

Just Cute Bears - challenge 12 - Flowers - I paper pieced the tulip twice and raised the second one on a sticky pad.

My Time To Craft - challenge 87 - Pretty Pearls . I've used mine to make a pin and edged the corner.

Looking at him I wish I'd paper pieced his feet and ear,maybe next time.

Spring Green

My posts have been short the last few days as I have had a bad migraine.I hope you all had a good Easter weekend.My lovely husband Steve cooked lots of scrummy,yummy food.He always makes breakfast and on Sunday he also made a delicious pizza for lunch ,not a store bought base,he patiently made his own.I was also indulged with a rich beery beef casserole with 4 types of beans for dinner.

Enough of that it's making me feel hungry and it's only 3.30pm.

A New Arrival

I was so busy making cards yesterday I didn't even say hello when I posted on my blog.If you were celebrating St. Pats Day I hope the hangover is not too bad and for the rest us it's always good to get to Wednesday,half way to the weekend. I've taken quite a shine to the vintage images on offer at Digital Two for Tuesday.I hope I can make something with the second image which is also baby related.

I wasn't sure how best to add a little detail to the drapes ,I finally decide a fine line of glue and a little glitter.It works for me.
