birthday cake

As I usually use  AquaMarkers which I love it was a surprise to see just how many other markers I actually had. So I used them to make the background for this card.

I over stamped in black with this stamp from Uniko.

The word celebrate came from this Letter it set.

My finished card

Passion for Markers week 573 - birthdays - it wouldn't be a birthday without cake.

My last post was food related  - I'm off to raid the fridge.

You may as well have a big one

This muffin stamp is a big 5.5cm tall - part of set from Abi's Crafts - a very old set I've had for years. The words are from Letter it. The paper is a magazine freebie.

Double D's challenges are 5 years old - bring on the cupcakes for this challenge.

I've bought it but now what ?

do you buy things and then wonder what sort of card to make. This embossing folder was a magazine freebie - some very dodgy ink blending  a few sequins and a sentiment all mounted on silver card.

background embossing folder Kaisercraft 'roses' - don't look too closely the hearts are upside down .
A bit of colour -some enamel dots and another sentiment.

I painted this panel in November intending to use it for Christmas card but never found the right things to use it - I ran it through the freebie embossing folder added more enamel dots and a die cut sentiment . This one is my favourite.

The die cut used on all three is 'fine line flowers' from Kaisercraft.

Let me know what you think and if you have this die how did you use it.

a little grey celebration

I used ProMarkers  in the grey tones to colour some scraps of paper and the die cut some trees. The sentiments are from Rangers Letter it  ' it's the little things' there are  more than 50 words in this stamp set which you can mix up to make your own greeting.

Do trees make a suitable male card ?

What's your tipple

I'm not going to lie I could drink for an  olympic gold medal when I was younger - now alas I only have to smell the stuff to have a headache. The two background papers are from  Couture Creations a 6x6 pad called "gentlemen's emporium".

I used my Promarker Aquamarkers to colour the image.
