Give it a go

https://www.ellenhutson.com/swirl-background-essentials-by-ellen-clear-stamps/
I have seen a few cards made with this stamp from Ellen Hutson.

As it had solid shapes I thought a stencil might be easy to make . So this is my third attempt at drawing and cutting out what I hoped would look kind of OK.My first attempt didn't have enough sections - the second time I cut out the sections almost to the middle and the whole thing just wouldn't stay together - this third attempt was much better  as I drew a circle in the middle and made sure I didn't cut into it - of course this means I have to have an image or some text in the middle to cover up the crappy bits.

I moved my stencil over a little bit after the first colour was applied and then added some grey. The stencil was only made from paper and not usable again but I quite like the effect. Maybe when our postal systems get back to normal I might just buy the stamp.

Blue tulips ? Yes they do exist

Beccy I feel I should apologise for using your pretty image and taking it apart.

As you can see it has been chopped and changed a lot to form a bouquet. I hope you can see the shimmer on the close up below . I used pearlized paints from Semco.

I carried on the tulip theme for the inside - I will write the message before I stick this panel down .This was really out of my comfort zone ,I originally just had the bouquet and the twirly corners and for me this was enough as I really love CAS . Once I started with the extras it was hard to stop - paint splatters ,gems and butterflies - I'm still not sure if I should add a sentiment in the bottom
