keeping it simple

I used my scoreboard to add the lines and then added the yellow strips.

This butterfly has been sitting  in  a container on my desk for a very long time. I rubbed gilding was around the edges and also across parts of the butterfly wings. The green swirl die and the scalloped die cut frame were all bought pre loved so I have no idea what brand they are.

birthday butterflies

 My card making is very much budget based. I don't have the money to buy expensive ink pads and refills. I bought the above inks from Target  - 20 in a pack for $8. I simply pressed my finger in the ink then onto the card as a base to stamp on.

the butterfly stamp is from memory box and the flower and sentiment are from issue 256 of simply cards and papercrafts.
