not mush-room in this house

This is another one of the unmounted red rubber stamps from my local craft shop - it cost just $1 - coloured with AquaMarkers  - I added glossy accents to the white areas on the top and the front door - sadly it doesn't  on the pic.

I love ProMarkers - challenge 353 - anything goes - I don't often get to use my AquaMarkers like this
I usually add lots of water but I really needed that deep dark red - I also  used lemon and grey.

a bit dotty

My local craft shop has some unmounted red rubber stamps at very reasonable prices -I bought 4 and this coffee pot and cup is one of them - not sure if I like the hand drawn effect - the saucer is a bit wonky.Trimming away the paper from inside the handle was a pain so I cut it off and stamped the handle again, cut it out and stuck it in place.I used a circle punch to shape the corners.

a bit more chalk

I used chalks in my last post and had forgotten how effective they can be- this time I used blue and a delicate sandy colour . I used a square cardstock which makes the card clean and simple.

just add chalk

The Butterfly challenge - 95 - spin the wheel with the letter P - you can see the wheel above - I went with pink - peach - purple and a patterned paper - not forgetting a butterfly or two . I started in the top corner with the chalks and the peach colour and blended to pink and then to purple .

Scrapbook Boutique - a wonderful mood board - I loved the tree silhouette and have used that as my inspiration.

mothers day

Butterfly challenge  94 spin the wheel -  lots of options now with a new format on this challenge . I picked dogstooth check - round corners and crimson- (now I have to say I struggled with the colour - crimson is darker than scarlet but is it lighter or darker than raspberry- way too many choices .

Lets Craft and Create - challenge 134 - Anything/ Mothers Day- this was such fun to put together - a mix of digital - some stamping and punching a little colouring .

embossing folder idea

you may have tried this already but if you haven't then give it a go - I taped a sheet of thin card to the raised side of the embossing plate and with a crayola crayon I pressed down firmly and rubbed over the whole area - it's a bit like brass etching .

I did this one with a grey crayon and then added a little water colours in pink and green - I will go back and finish the colouring and then use it as a background paper .

A much more delicate effect when done with a pink crayon on a linen look card .

old garden boots from beccy's place

Beccy's place - February challenge -I used the freebie provided by Beccy and combined it with another of her images .I used watercolour pencils - when I came to post my card I noticed there is also an additional sketch so if I have time I will make another card using the sketch as well.
