The cute kitten is a freebie from Dawn which I printed out twice ,the yellow paper is a scented drawer liner , a painted doily and a few black flowers.

It's a Girl

Just Cute Bears -challenge 37 -Baby Creation with the option of gingham paper and ribbon.This card blank had an oval aperture ,I hand cut flowers and stuck them around the edges.The centres of all the flowers have small gems attached which don't show up very well.

I've got my pic a bit lopsided but then I'm no photographer ,I only started using the camera this year and it's a lot cleverer than I am. Despite the sentiment this little bear from Beccy doesn't look as if he's having much fun, perhaps I should have drawn a smile. His trousers have been paper pieced and he is raised up on sticky dots.

Just Cute Bears- challenge 34 -Inspired by a photo of a peacock,this was chosen by Beth - Cathy's' little girl. I've tried to use the lovely greens and blues associated with peacocks.

More flowers than bear

This is my second attempt at making this small card.I printed out the bear image from here.It was all finished when I realised it didn't have any legs,I'm sure Beccy can tell me why but that's for another day. I cropped a pair of bear legs from one of her other images ,coloured them and attached them. The addition of legs made the image too big for my card so I had to start again. This image is a bit too small but I'm not doing it again, LIFE IS TOO SHORT or rather my bear is. The hat was printed out twice and raised on sticky pads.

Day 144 - Best Seller- Inspired by a book cover .I'm not familiar with this book 'Summer at Tiffany',the lovely blue colour said baby card to me .

I still have to make my cards for Friday and Saturday.I will get them done later today.To be honest my heart is with Gloria and her family after their tragic loss.

Swinging in the Sun

When I think about Summer I don't see a day at the beach with the sand sticking to me and making everything gritty . My vision for summer is depicted perfectly with this bear ,a swing in the tree ,listening to the birds and watching for butterflies. The sweet scent of garden flowers like honeysuckle and jasmine. I'll take those over the beach any day.

Father bear is trying to enjoy a bit of peace and quiet in the garden with his book.I've printed him out twice and used sticky dots to raise him up.

Just Cute Bears - challenge 17 -Recipe- 3 Brads, 2 Papers and 1 Ribbon. My one ribbon has been threaded through two chip board buttons. How sad is this little bear, even his cherry pie doesn't make him happy.His head and the pie have been printed out twice and raised on sticky pads.

Wash Day

How cute is this bear from Sassy Cheryls . I decided less is more with this card .I love the papers and the image so didn't add too much. Last year I was obsessed by buttons this year my love affair is with chalks so all the edges are shaded and soft.

Sorry about the quality of the photos,it's a bit grey and gloomy here in Tassie today.The flash keeps going off and affecting the colours.

Celebrate a New Arrival

Just Cute Bears - Challenge 14 is a sketch.I've used this cute stamp which I won a few weeks ago at JCB. The clown buttons are part of a pack I bought about 6 years ago ( I never throw anything away) a couple of days ago I posted another card using the Bear and Rabbit buttons.

A possible second entry for Day 57 at 365 Cards. Baby inspired by the Ad.

Just Cute Bears - Challenge 13- One for the Boys.

I've gone for this fatty enjoying some ski time,but his feet must be freezing,pity he couldn't find bigger boots. The background paper is actually dark blue not black.I've used lots of chalk around the image to soften the edges.

Well it's another beautiful sunny day here in Tasmania and it's Thursday ,almost the weekend.As well as playing along with the 365 Cards everyday I am trying to fit in a few other challenges as well. It's not easy.

My Time To Craft - challenge 87 - Pretty Pearls . I've used mine to make a pin and edged the corner.

Looking at him I wish I'd paper pieced his feet and ear,maybe next time.
