What can you make in 20 minutes or less . Cardstock is forest green ,paper is 'vintage christmas' from HOTP .The large tag/embellishement is from 'My Minds Eye' , I added a little stitching across the top and bottom of the sentiment .

365 Cards - day 337 -Photo inspired -shown above top. I rifled through my bag of pink papers for small scraps to make the quilt .The baby hand is a small button ,rub ons for the word baby.

Friendship

A happy Boxing Day ,are you all full of festive goodies. I was very good yesterday and this morning I went for a walk to banish those extra calories.

365 Cards- day 296 - Imagine this- Mistletoe - I went with the colours instead of a Christmas feel.I've had the embossed paper for such a long time I've no idea where it came from.The sentiment is from Stampin Up. The flower is scalloped lace which I've gathered ,a crochet flower courtesy of my crafty friend Merry and a button from my stash.

I hope you all had a good weekend ,things were pretty quite at this end.My card making seems almost non existent at the moment .I came back from my holiday in New Zealand feeling refreshed and energetic and all this energy has been used to do some serious house cleaning .I hope to be back to my crafty self very soon. 365 Cards -day 284 -Pretty Pockets -make a card with two pockets . The patterned paper is just gift wrap . A couple of tags and a large chipboard button .I used a tutorial from splitcoast stampers for the basic idea.

Christmas Greetings

Although I haven't put a sentiment on the front I think I will use this card for Christmas. The music stamp is from Uppity .

365 Cards - day 267 - They have a vintage theme this week and today's challenge must include a pin . I'm never sure what makes a card vintage so I hope this will be OK.

A bit of recycling

Over the past few months my card making has been a bit hit 'n' miss. I had intended to complete all the challenges at 365 cards and for a while I was OK. I'm not sure what happened but I am so far behind that it's just not possible to catch up.

365 Cards - day 266- Super Sketchy Sunday .I'm never quite sure how best to attach lace to my cards ,I find it easiest to stick a strip of card to the lace first and add some beads. A pair of earrings I no longer wear have gone into my stash and this is one of them .

365 Cards -day 228- Sanding and Sponging -My sanding was done with an emery board ,I was too lazy to get sandpaper from the garage. I haven't joined in with their challenges for ages and I need to get back into the habit of making a card everyday.

365 Cards - day 195 -This or That- Make a card that could be used for more than one occasion.You could not have a sentiment and that would make it easy ,I've picked this sentiment for the outside,inside you could put 'On your birthday' or 'At this sad time'.


365 Cards -day 192 - Wild West- I always show you my efforts ,good or bad.I'm looking at this one now and thinking of ways to improve it.In my stash I have lots of star shaped brads in gold and silver which I could have painted and put on the boot and also in the corners .Back to the craft room.

I was tempted to add a few flowers but as yet I haven't decided if this could be for a male .All the papers are from Michelle Powell and are supposed to be for iris folding so I have to make a patchwork to use them.

When I saw the picture for 365 Days I couldn't decide if I should break out the gold ink and embossing powder or just to use Time as my theme.I think I made the right choice and used these muted colours for my card.

I've kept to the sketch and not added too many extras ,I'm just not sure about the butterfly.All the papers are from Michelle Powell.

Cake ,did you say CAKE

I haven't used this stamp ages so for todays challenge at 365 I brushed off the dust and made this card.

365 Cards - Day 187 - Friday Favourite - Food or drink inspired. I love cake and muffins ,any size , any flavour except coffee.

The Fuzzy Wuzzy Challenge - September is a colour theme ,pink,green,chocolate and kraft. My card and bear are kraft ,the flower stem and leaves are dark chocolate ,the circles milk chocolate.

Autumn colours

365 Cards- Day 184 - Opposites Attract - choose a favourite and least favourite colour and match them together. I love green and for some reason orange is not a colour I often use. A little splash here and there works really well.

Some of the DT at 365 thought this sketch reminded them of a snowman. What did I think ,GRAPES.
