Little boy blue

I hope your weekend got off to a good start .I was up and about before 6.00am this morning and just about half way through a cup of coffee Steve joined me . An early breakfast and back into sorting through those pesky boxes ,I'm pleased to say we have almost finished. A trip to the local Salvos with our unwanted stuff,a grocery shop and we were back in time for coffee at 11.00am. After all this activity I'm tempted to do my craft room next.

I'm not sure if I should have added a bit more to this card ,I can never decide and sometimes my creations are just too messy.

Southern Girls- challenge 4 - Glitter it up - the moon and the large star have had the glitter treatment.

Moving Along With The Times - challenge 70 - A card for a child. This is probably for a new birth or 1st birthday.

Paper Romance- challenge 22- Make a card with some sort of pleated ribbon on it. I'm never sure how best to secure the pleats so I've used tiny pearls .
Totally Papercrafts -challenge 40 - Bling it on - Jewels,Gems ,Pearls, Glitter,anything sparkly or shiny. Again the moon and large star.

I was tempted to add a few flowers but as yet I haven't decided if this could be for a male .All the papers are from Michelle Powell and are supposed to be for iris folding so I have to make a patchwork to use them.

Christmouse again.

The mouse may not be a favourite with many people ,I quite like the little critters. If you've ever had a cat and a catflap then mice are inevitable. Our cat Tom would bring them in ,let them go and then fall asleep on the sofa.Other presents have included rats,hens , baby rabbits and worms.


We all know the story "Twas the night before Christmas".In my house everyone is sleeping except one little mouse.

This card is for two challenges.

Moving Along With The Times- challenge 43 -Animals with a layout as well. I've substituted 3 pearls across the top instead of text.The cats are the main attraction here and I have only tinged their ears pink and a smidgen of grey on their tails.
365 Cards- Day 53 -Front, back and in between.Decorate all four sides of the card.

In the middle I punched all four corners of my insert. Very understated.

Welcome baby

This cute card is for challenge 35 "Babies and Children over at Moving Along With The Times.The image comes from Doodle Palace .I'm not very happy with sentiment,it is a self adhesive puffie ,it's also transparent and the glue shows through.The pack about 10 puffies in different colours and sizes,next time I will stick it to white paper first and then attach it to my card.
