All the 'B's' balloons,butterfly ,bear and blue

I've got my pic a bit lopsided but then I'm no photographer ,I only started using the camera this year and it's a lot cleverer than I am. Despite the sentiment this little bear from Beccy doesn't look as if he's having much fun, perhaps I should have drawn a smile. His trousers have been paper pieced and he is raised up on sticky dots.

I love this little mouse enjoying his coffee so much I decided to keep things simple. The flowers are' Sam n Lucy in Bloom'. The patterned papers were a magazine freebie. The image is Cappuccino Pippin from Delightful sketches.

Time for Tea

"Buzz Off " is what we are told from Cute Card Thursday this week, so yellow and black are the focus of this challenge.I've made my card using black card stock, yellow and white striped paper,black ribbon,an edge punch and a yellow flower.The teapot was just an outline which I coloured and shaded then added some black spots.I've used sticky dots to lift it ever so slightly from the white card.

Hidden Love

Cute Card Thursday challenge 78 'Hidden Treasure '. I've made an old favourite, a slider card.I've used lots of coordinating papers from my stash along with a few beads and gems.It's not very cute but is does have a hidden message.

My only card for today is Papertake Weekly 'sketch 23 ' and Cute Card Thursday challenge 77 in colours Pink and Green. The image is 'frilly milly' from Pink Petticoat. I've taken the easy way out by using this cute girlie so I didn't have to do any work.All the papers are magazine freebies.

Baby card

CRAFT challenge 14 all about embossing. Cute Card Thursday New Beginings . I love to dry emboss,I don't have a fancy machine to do all the hard work,just a little patience. I love the Fleur DE Ly's shape .The embossing has been finished off with blue chalks .I've combined this with the CCT challenge and made a very posh card for a bit of baby bling. The card has tiny turquoise crystals which have been set into an embossed hole.The flowers are punched from vellum with a flat pearl in the centre.

Beaches

The theme this week from Cute Card Thursday is a beach theme. I've gone back to an old favourite of decoupage for this one. Not so much a white talcum powder beach but the rough sand dunes which are great for winter walks. I love this image I can almost feel the wind blowing through my hair.The image is from Monica's 3d sheets.

Challenge 72 ,Tealy good , Cute Card Thursday. This weeks challenge was to use teal and red.I looked hard and long at my paper stash before deciding this would qualify.I've kept it very simple as the paper is the star (Kaiser scrapbook).

This was my first attempt at challenge 71.A bit of a disaster ,we all have bad mojo days.Thankfully I liked my second attempt the lemon tree much better.

Cute card Thursday challenge 71.

Loved this one as it gave me chance to use up some of the things I had planned to throw away last week. The stock card for this has a slightly gritty texture,a bit like fine sandpaper.The tag and tree were hand cut from a brown envelope ( I couldn't find anything else in my scraps ).I cut a half circle from a yellow and white flowered textured paper ,defined the edges with a yellow marker pen and then very carefully cut thin strips of white paper for the ribs and a further half circle in white which I trimmed down to make the pith effect round the edges. Once I had the idea it took about 30 minutes to assemble which is quick for me.

Eye Eye

CCT challenge 70 . I never seem to make many card for men, eyelets are perfect for a random, rough effect. The edges of the card are inked ,the two papers are from Smart Craft ,the colours are a bit pale on here ,the real deal is much darker and ties in perfectly with the bubble peeloffs from Castro Crafts.

Cute card Thurday challenge. This card was made using paper that has a knitted look about it,unfortunately I don't know where it came from .Hot off the Press rings a bell.The silver snowflakes and stars are punched from silver foil.
