Shaker Christmas Card

Incy Wincy Designs - week 104 - shaker cards -perfect for Christmas themes.

I've used water colour pencils ,the paper and snowflakes I printed out on the computer.I was hoping to find some tiny snowflakes in my stash but had to make do with glitter and stars.I need to give it a shake my glitter is all at the right hand side.
Enjoy your weekend ,we have 4 houses to look at ,a mix of very old and ultra modern.This week has been very busy ,the Red Cross are opening a new shop and I have been helping to stock it ready for the grand opening next Friday. I've had a lucky week with my cards and won some images from KennyK ( not really my style) and some Kaszazz stuff.

Christmas in July

this entire card is made from magazine scraps and a few bits of lace and pearls from my stash.The sentiment stamp is from Lucy's.I think I should go back to the craft room and add a strip of black velvet ribbon with a bow (across the top of the lace border). What do you think ?
I'm a bit disappointed with my photo ,it's very very sunny today and the antique colours all look way too bright.

All challenged out

The last two days have been hard challenges for me at 365 Cards.

Day 10 -Wacky Colour Wednesday-Purple,Blue and Orange-the image is called 'Balancing Act ' from Delightful Inspirations.
The layout is from Unscripted Sketches challenge 14.

I stamped orange card with a dark blue swirl and added my birdies.





365 Cards Day 11- Lovely Landscapes .I thought my only option for this was a paper covered in snowflakes or Christmas trees but then I remembered this beautiful oriental inspired paper with the silver branches and butterflies.I've used a leaf punch with some beautiful vellum to add a few leaves, I think I need to add a couple more.

Rainy Bear

This little rainy bear is for challenge 43 at Unscripted sketches .There is a sketch to follow and a colour combo of blue,green,brown and a mushroomy sort of colour.I would love to tell you where the little bear came from but I don't seem to have a name on my computer.

This is also for Aimee's challenge 2 -buttons. I haven't entered my card as this challenge is really aimed at adults/children making cards together.

Piggy dreaming

I've not been too well this week so I am only just posting cards I made for challenges last Saturday.I'm not sure if I will make the deadline but as I am in Australia it does give me a few more hours.

Secret Crafter Saturday challenge 51. "Animal Antics ".My little piggy is only sleeping but he was too cute not to use.

Unscripted Sketches 25. I've used the basic layout for my card.

I've cut a piece of purple card to the size I wanted.All the papers used are from Office Works and were given to me by a friend. The stamp for the sentiment was also given to me by a friend so I don't know its origin.It's not very easy to see on the dark paper but it says 'One little baby,many happy hearts' . I have some very kind and generous mates.The sleeping piggy image is from Lily-Boo's ,last week I bought the pig,mouse and hedgehogs sets .
