Permission to come aboard
The inside has a compass to complete the nautical theme.
Sorry I haven't been around for a while ,I still haven't finished my inserts or the craft room (I seem to be having a few health problems).
I bought this little ship in pack of nautical bits n bobs about 8 years ago ,yes I did say 8 years. Not that I'm a hoarder but I thought I might use them one day.The card blank already had the apperture .

Cool Zone

I've done my ironing ,had a quick tidy up which means I have time to make a card.I must try and be better organised this week, hardly made any cards last week.
Secret Crafter Saturday challenge 49 theme "Teenage Boys".
Saturday Cardpatterns sketch 32.
Cut and folded a piece of card to the right size. Machine stitched papers ( the papers came in a small book 15cm square entitled Autumn ) . The three buttons were all clear and I stuck some paper behind them .The words are Crystal bubble letters. The image is from Woodware. I love the grungy colours, I guess it's OK for a teenage boy.

Enter or not

Allsorts challenge 'something for the boys' challenge 17.I had lots of fun with this one.My card is for a small boy . Behind the purple spotty card hides lots of ribbon, the tag comes off and has a design on both sides . The tag can be hung on a bedroom door handle to say if it's safe to come in.The tag is made from chipboard so it has enough weight and strength, once the images were stuck to the chipboard I inked the edges .The stripey background paper was a magazine freebie which I've had for ages. The images are from Fred she said and Pollycraft.
