Sweet hunny bunny

Penny's Papercraft challenge 393 - anything goes - when I coloured this bunny it was meant to go on a get well card but after picking this paper I decided a baby card would work.

Pretty in pink

a bit of stamping and lots of delicate cutting by hand - the colour combo is a bit drastic but it's good do something different. flower stamp simon says and the sentiment from woodland hugs - my trusty watercolour pencils to add a touch of pink.

Butterfly

I stamped the butterfly twice - once on the blue vellum and a second time on pale green vellum- I trimmed the pale green cutting off the wavy edges on the wings - I then stuck it behind the blue vellum as you can see on the pic above - the dark splodges are where I glued them together - this was covered later with a green marker pen.

 -                                                                              extra fold for this challenge - disappointing pic as the vellum is the same colour green as the flowers on the side panels.

Butterfly challenge 93 - extra fold with optional peacock blue and green.

A sticky mess

I'm not really a pink person but I knew I had an inkpad in my stash , what a mess the foam pad had
had gone all gooey - straight in the bin. It was hard to find a bright pink but the one I bought is called Hot Pink.

A smoosh of pink ink and then 3 stamps to create this simple card. I say simple but I threw away 6 previous attempts - all slightly different designs with a pink / grey / black colour combo - I didn't realise I had so much patience.

Butterfly challenge - 92 - O is for one layer and /or ultra pink.

floral fancy

I'm not very good with fiddly things so I was quite pleased with myself when I managed to cut out this floral image . The spots on the paper were quite random so I added a few more along with a leaf stamp to fill some of the gaps.

lots of layers

A couple of cards using a layout which gives lots of scope to use doilies or die cuts and in my case punched circles and fancy edge scissors  - I could happily make  lots using different colour combo's. The cardstock base is 14.5 x 10.5 cm.

hey litte fox

This sweet little fox stamp was a magazine freebie - stamped 3 times - I'm not a fan of sticky pad so I the body was raised slightly higher with one extra layer of card stock and the head had two extra layers, all coloured with lots of water and AquaMarkers in 'alizarin crimson' and 'cerulean blue'.The stamp sentiment is also a magazine freebie.

day 30 - do what you love

What I love is my favourite stamp ever - it doesn't matter what the season - green/yellow combo is great for spring/summer cards -brown/grey is good for male cards -blue/silver for Christmas -here I picked brown and red for a vintage feel.

My cardstock base was a beige/pinky colour -I used a honeycomb stencil around the edges with a light brown ink- I stamped over all this with a text stamp and white ink - I stamped dec25 a few times over the card along with a joy stamp before final adding the sentiment.

And here are my 30 cards -I was so far behind I think I made 6 cards in one day just to catch up.
Thank to Beccy for this wonderful challenge. What will I do next week - carry on with kitchen reno I still have to finish -

Day 29 - 'Z' is for Z fold

Well folks it's day 29 at Beccy's Place -  'Z' is for Z fold- again I've tried to use an unusual colour- I quite like the relaxing tones of brown and white.

'Y' is for YULE

Over the past 28 days I have tried to use colours that were not a red/green or  blue/silver combo but I may have gone too far this time - that blue really is THAT blue.

'U' under the mistletoe

Beccy's place  - November challenge - 'U' under the mistletoe- this was the only image I had but it's so pretty - I printed out an extra bow but I haven't raised it up with sticky pads- it's just the thickness of the cardstock.
