The light was very bad and I had to use the flash for this piccie,the background colour is a very pretty pale green.

365 Cards -day 149 - Another sketch as shown above and my interpretation.The papers are all Kaiser craft. The stitching was done with a fine black pen ,I'm quite pleased as it looks real.

365 Cards -day 72 - It needs something -Add a little extra touch to an image. My extras are the bow around the bouquet and the three D effect when I printed out parts of the image twice.

Little Boy Blue

Polka Doodles challenge- week 11- A sketch and theme of blue and brown. I've used a stencil on the base card and used blue and brown to add the diamond effect.It's hard to see on the picture but I've paper pieced the dark brown patches,his mittens and his boots.I've added a couple of snowflakes as I think he would be good for Christmas or a Winter Birthday.

A little birdie

Well yesterday was a horrible day,after staying up for way too many hours on Saturday I was completely out of it. I was on auto pilot all day and did all my usual things like cooking and grocery shopping all without incident. The only casualty of the day was ironing my husbands work shirts ,the fly spray was on the worktop next to my spray starch, I'm not sure which one I used .

Polka Doodles challenge week 7. They have a layout and also a theme 'For the birds'.I'm not sure what sort of bird this is and it should probably be a different colour but hey I like it.I love spotty paper and last week at my local craft store demo I couldn't resist this paper.I couldn't wait to use it either .

Well ,that must be a record 12 challenges in one post.I'm sure if do some surfing I could probably find a dozen more but hey I have a life. My card is simple ,understated using a colour a million miles away from the usual red or pink.It may not be to everyones taste but the sentiment says it all. And finally Have a Happy Weekend.

Sweet Valentine

Hi crafty world, can't believe it's Friday already. Think the printer needs more ink ,the image on this card was very pale. I've used gift wrap for the backing paper and the image is from Pollycraft. A bit of lace,a button and some punched hearts.
