365 Cards Day 132 - Stampin Saturday - Use one digi image and one stamped image.I've used the digi Donkey image and the sentiment is an acrylic stamp.

Love is in the air

It's Wednesday already and I have extra time to play as my lovely OH is away on business.I'm not sure what I was thinking when I re sized this image but it's enormous.Everyone is thinking about Lurv so my card covers lots of challenges.

Bee Crafty challenge 22 -Favourite colour combo-Pink and grey are a winner for me.

The image is from Pollycraft which I layered onto grey pearlised card.Her dress has been embellished with tiny sequins,lots of clear sparkles and pink glitter on her tiara.The pink spot paper was a magazine freebie and the pink strip is from a baby themed scrap pad.I've tried to keep it simple because the image is so big.

365 Cards Day 319 -teen scene ,my image from Pollycraft.

I covered a card blank with gingham paper in yellow and white then chalked heavily around the edges with blue.The image is from Pollycraft,the patterned paper from Dena Designs ,small yellow flowers from Sam n Lucy in Bloom.The blue flowers and pearl shank buttons and ribbon are from my stash.

Why is there never enough time for card making.I've abandoned my ironing and any other housework today except for cooking which is another great passion.This is my take on 3 challenges set earlier this week.Sorry I'm late.

The Pink Elephant challenge 34 "Something with dots,punch and a tag". I think that sounds right.My backing paper has spots, snowflakes are punched and Cherry kisses snowball girl is a tag.

Pollycraft Monday challenge 25 " 5 S words.Snowflakes,sparkles,spots,stripes and swirls,the idea is to use as many as you can.I've managed spots,snowflakes and sparkles.

Autumn Leaf

My first card of the week was for a male and it turned out OK so I'll try my luck at another one .A Spoonful of Sugar challenge 69 'Autumn ' . No cutie figures for me . A couple of die cut leaf shapes inked with black and gold.The word leaf is a rub on and the sentiment is printed on the computer .The tag was ready made from a magazine freebie .All the paper is from my stash.Greens,Gold,Brown and Orange that's just about as Autumn as it gets.

Summer Days

I hadn't intended to make a card for this challenge but I was out shopping and saw the ocean themed paper napkins. A Spoonful of Sugar challenge 67 'distressing" . I thought the ocean napkins would look good distressed and I've decoupaged the centre shell and the star fish .The blue pearly discs at the top are from my stash.

Travel

Spoonful of Sugar have a theme of travel this week, challenge 65. I feel as though I have cheated as all the bits 'n' bobs were ready made and I usually like to make my own tags etc. The background paper is notepaper from Office Works.The stickers are from Jenmark.I've inked the edge of the card to look worn.Cards for men seem a bit thin on the ground so I think this would be good.
