happy christmouse or should that be christmice




As you can see my little mice are a work in progress 2 are complete just 4 more to go.I used lots of coloured pencils and rubbed very hard with my fingers - the small amount of natural oil in the skin is enough to blend the colours. Start with the pale colours first -

What a gorgeous image Gail, the mice are so cute decorating their little tree with berries. You did a wonderful job colouring them and I was surprised to read that you blend the colours with your fingers. I've never heard that before but you sure get some brilliant results, they look wonderful. Love the glitter border too!

I use Zest to blend - you can get it in the supermarket - or art suppliers - but your finger tip is a good one. I love the soft look of pencil to colour and it really suits these little fella's! Cute card.
