Tuesday Morning Sketches -  # 315 - Another sketch I'm going to be using again and again- love it.

Beccy's Place - August challenge - I had an enjoyable 6 months on the DT but since that spell ended I've had a break from using  Beccy's images - now I can enjoy them all over again starting with this one.

21st Card

Do people still make a big deal about being 21- my 21st birthday coincided with my Grandfathers retirement so the party was full of older people and non of my friends were invited. I was not a happy bunny.

Let it snow

I masked off an area on the stencil to make the little trees-  a few gems - sequins and lots of glitter . I made this card on Friday morning and after many many attempts to take a photo ( more than 100 ) I decide I must have the camera on the wrong setting so waited for DH to come home from work - he tried and tried and the conclusion -the camera is broken - I dug out my very old camera but the pics just weren't sharp enough . So this morning with new camera I've got a reasonable pic- I need to read the camera instructions - maybe later today.

Scrapbook Boutique - the cupcake image for this month has lots of silver and blue- perfect for  a Christmas theme.

Keeping it simple

This leaf stamp is one of my favourites but I'm hopeless at remembering where it came from - there are other smaller leaves in the set along with some birds - I popped some black paper behind the card so it would show up.

Tuesday Morning Sketches # 314 -Some days what your eyes see and the message the brain then sends to the hands just doesn't work - it took mean ages and lots of scrap paper to cut out the red starry paper - I had all sorts of shapes and angles - a bad case of brain freeze- NOTE TO SELF just used the same colours as last weeks challenge - get over the red and black thing.

Anyone for tea

I have to be honest and say I was really out of my comfort zone when I made this card - I don't usually do fussy layouts with lots of layers- I think I need to go back and make the bottom plate a darker pink to match the inside of the cup at the top but hey I did my best.

A bit of nifty cross-stitch

My little butterfly is  a very simple cross -stitch and has only has a handful of colours so it's super easy to do.

Crafting with Dragonflies has reopened and the first challenge is Butterflies.Glad to hear you are feeling so much better Hilde .
