Friday already and my first post of the week - Mr MOJO has been on holiday this week . On Wednesday I popped into my local craft store looking for a flower stamp - not just the outline but a solid flower as I wanted to do some shadow stamping -  I came away with a cute cat stamp - yesterday afternoon I stamped and coloured this cat 11 times with different products and I didn't like any of them. I think maybe I have to put the stamp away for a long time and then come back to it.


This morning I feel a bit more positive and made this card using some lovely embossed card and this pretty bag - I'm not which company makes them but I  bought a pack of 4 from a shop in New Zealand .

Lets Craft and Create - Embossing wet or dry - I did both - when I stamped the sentiment with 'Brilliance starlite silver ' it was a bit pale so I added silver embossing powder  .

Birthday gifts

The gifts and sentiment are all part of the same digital image from Handmade Harbour. Red coloured pencil -red stripey washi tape - I used a magazine freebie template to cut the fancy edge.

Did I really use orange

I'm really not an orange person -it's would always be last on my list but this time it works . I used water colours and added glossy accents to the berries. The image is from Beccy's Place and this card is for the February challenge ..

Happy Hearts

Lavender hearts or at least they will be when I attache the tiny lace bags of dried lavender to the buttons.I used my trusty heart stencil and some fabric paint on plain white cotton .

Spots 'n' Stripes

I only bought one sheet of this paper -  I should have bought more - I love the green /chocolate combo - It's called 'Stripes 'from the Christmas collection at  Queen and Co. I've added a felt  square and  circle in white and chocolate.

Happy Monday and butterfly template

This was a labour of love . I don't have a cuttlebug or template to make this card - I had to start  from scratch with a basic butterfly shape -  I used my fancy scissors to shape the bottom wings and added a slight curve to the top wings . I have covered the cardstock with the patterned paper and then cut out two smaller butterflies . Using a regular holepunch I did a few holes on one butterfly then place the second one behind so the colours would show through.  Try it for yourself using the template above -make sure the top of the wings are on the fold of your card.
