paper ? not quite

I thought I had picked up some patterned papers from my local charity shop - turned out to be stickers. I know washi tape and pet stickers are very popular at the moment .

These two dark cards were transparent stickers, sadly only one sheet but it made two cards.

The other sheets all had white edges but I added them to white card so it's not so bad -  the sticker sheets cost $1 for the pack and will make about 12 cards so pretty cheap to create.

some bunny

It's only one little card but I hope I can get back to crafting after the floor upheaval. Things are taking shape in my little craft space, little being the operative word here. I will always be envious of you lucky people who have space to spare.

I thought this might make a good valentines/ anniversary card cos we all need a little love. The cup is green but it was so sunny it's hard to see, inside the bunny ears are pink.

No floors

The  past few weeks have been a bit horrible. Our old house continues to throw problems are way. To be honest this latest problem was caused by shonky work done prior to our buying the house. We had floors which were uneven when we moved in and this got steadily worse until my foot went through the floor. Fearing the worst and a very large bill was about to come our way we were happy when the problem was the wrong boards put down before. It was actually very dry under the house and no rot present. On the downside one outside wall had no support and was sagging - lots of concrete- new supporting beams and jacking up to ger things a bit straighter.

So two bedrooms have had the new floors and it was a perfect opportunity to get in there with a paint brush and smarten things up. All the bedroom furniture, my craft table and supplies and carpets have been sitting in our lounge room , our dining table is in the garage so there has been no space or place to craft.  I have bought a few new crafty bits but I have no idea when I will find some me time to craft..

more leaves

the Judikins leaf cube stamp I bought from the local charity shop was still on my table so I used it again.

I used the same layout as before just changed the colour combo. The stamp is still out so there may be more to come .

More Autumn hues

the butterfly stamp is from issue 239 of Simply Cards and Papercrafts magazine. I have to say I'm not a fan of the extra set of wings -  does it look odd to you or is it just me.

Moody autumn colours

This is a recent purchase from the op shop - new unused - a cube stamp from Judi Kins dated 1995. It has  4 leaves - Elm - Aspen - Maple and Oak. I will probably take them from the block at some stage. Just looked on E-Bay and there is one of these stamps available in the U.S -priced $5 .

It took  a lot of markers to make these little leaves and I think maybe a bit more red would have been good.

Say cheese

Lets craft and Create- challenge 212- A/G or add purple . I used a light and a dark ink pad to add some shade.

I've had this stamp set for many years , I think it may be memory keepers / american crafts ? I didn't stamp the inner circle with heart as the wonky circle doesn't seem to match the straight line of the camera. I take my pics with a small red camera and sadly it is reflected in the silver cardstock I have used.

Second chance

Last week I took a box of craft items to my local charity shop - lots of paper -punches that have now been replaced with dies -embossing folders which came with magazines that have never been used - embellishments and other bits I no longer use .  I also threw away partial sheets of peel off stickers in gold and silver ,some of these were over 20 years old .

The tree die was also in the charity box , used once in 2019  . I gave it a second chance and made this Christmas card - I'm not sure I like it any better 5 years done the  line - it may well be in the next donation box.

Do you have this die from Kaisercraft  and what have you made with it.

you are 2 today

I'm having trouble getting this to lay flat after embossing directly on the card base , perhaps I should have cut a front panel. I know I will lose some of the dimension but I'm going to run it through my machine to hopefully straighten it out.

flowers for you

Embossing folder from Couture Creations / Falling florals

I embossed and coloured the whole panel and then die a circle which was then inked with grey. It looked bit flat directly on the purple cardstock but by adding a silver layer underneath it seemed to bring a bit more life into the image.
