Deepest Sympathy

I rarely make Sympathy cards but when I do they have to be old school and quite respectful.I like to use black, grey, lilac , pale green and possibly lemon. I would only use bright colours if requested ,say pink for the death of a young girl .
Once the colour has been decided what to put on the front ,if you choose an image like my poppies then a short sentiment is best . For something a bit longer perhaps in a frame Psalm 48 is good as is Matthew 11.28 and whilst it's not pertaining to bereavement Psalm 23 'The lord is my Shepherd ' is very soothing to read.
If in doubt about the religious element then 'Our thoughts are with you at this sad time ' , or possibly 'With Deepest Sympathy ' .
